The law firm of H. Edward Sherman, APLC was established in 1983 to provide legal services for people suffering from serious personal injury. We focus our practice in the areas of maritime and offshore, river and bluewater accidents, 18 wheeler accidents, car accidents, and medical malpractice cases. Our law office is located in New Orleans and is easily accessible from the I-10 or Highway 90. However, our legal representation extends to clients throughout Louisiana and other states—Venice to Shreveport, LA; Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, New York, Texas, California, Virginia, Georgia, Washington and Arkansas.

Our Goal

It is our goal to provide clients with compensation for their injuries and to assist them in restoring their lives. Receiving compensation to cover mounting medical bills and future medical expense as well as to recover lost wages certainly helps overcome the burden and stress created by a personal injury. However, someone who has been the victim of a serious injury seeks to regain the quality of life that he or she had before being injured. Our personal injury lawyers take the time to carefully listen to each client’s concerns. We take an aggressive and thorough approach to your case by collaborating with experts to evaluate the cause of accidents, extent of injuries and future medical coverage that will be needed. We use experts such as doctors, specialists, psychologists and vocational counselors for evaluation and also to assist clients to get their lives back together with a future, financially and emotionally.

Clients look to H. Edward Sherman, APLC for our years of extensive experience and our proven track record in the personal injury area. Our lawyers work individually on cases and also combine efforts through hard work and the latest technology to analyze and arrive at the best strategy for handling your case. We care about the people we represent, and clients receive personalized attention. We set our sights to obtain the best possible outcomes in the least costly and most expedient way we can.

Free Consultation and Contingency Fees

We offer a free consultation to evaluate your case. Our fees are based on contingency which means no attorney fees are paid out of pocket, and we get paid a portion of the recovery when we win your case by settlement or trial.
